  • The wonderful Laura H. is organising a second Letter Lounge in China. Christmas card crafts and other festive delights will be present at this special wintery event. Write some lovely letters at the Penghao Theatre. ‘This place has got to be one of Beijing’s best kept secrets. A stunningly located building, complete with attic chill out zones and a rooftop bar. The tree that stands at the centre of the place is a lovely touch.’

  • A Valentine’s special! ANDOR is staying open a bit later so you can write love letters to your sweetheart. There will be tea, sandwiches and cakes for sale. And you can BYOB (corkage charge of £3) if you think it will help to be a bit tipsy to write to your true love. There will also be some arts and crafts materials for you to make Valentine’s cards. Also write letters to Aung San Suu Kyi with Letter Lounge, submit a poem on the theme of liberty for the Peacock Poetry Prize, activities with Anorak, and meet a life-size paper peacock!

  • Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people.Crisis are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. This is a closed letter-lounge for Crisis members as part of two week schedule of “Taster Sessions” for established and new members giving them the opportunity to participate in an enriching activity that many may not have the opportunity to do as easily as others.
